Hala Tawil (b. 1991) is a Lebanese visual artist based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
Using combined digital techniques of illustration, collage, & modeling, Tawil aims to create uneasy and mysterious narratives of desire, longing and lonelines
Currently, Tawil has been focusing on creating images of composed interiors and framed views that center on the archetype of the female form. Romanticized impressions of the lonely woman inform her visual explorations, where the central female character is often rendered incomplete and fragmented, almost a passive object to circumstance.
