Hala Tawil (b. 1991) is a Lebanese visual artist based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

Tawil constructs images of composed interiors and framed views that center on the archetype of the female form.

Romanticized impressions of the lonely woman inform her visual explorations, where the central female character is often rendered incomplete and fragmented, almost a passive object to circumstance.

Using combined digital techniques of illustration, collage, & modeling, Tawil aims to create unsettling  glimpses and play on relationships between the body and its surroundings.
